The symbiosis of achingly slow metallic movements and detailed poetic rendering produces a poignant, bleak tableau. Having resigned himself to mankind's downfall, the despondent protagonist relates the surrounding scenes of decay he witnesses. Unbalanced musical permutations further convey the perception that much is wrong. Very wrong.
