It's true that nothing dramatically novel is done with these revisited chestnuts, but reverential faithfulness is a strength. (Besides, attempting to reimagine much-loved classics can engender catastrophe.) Ricky evinces admirable command, at times imprinting with flair. He's got the sock. The Rats, meanwhile, throw out fitting robustness, including in several instrumental ventures.
