High-stepping percussion, fuzz-guitar inventiveness, and brass sections whose pumpings flock skyward further impel these groovy cinematic-feeling tunes. (One envisions tilted shots of scooters racing along brick boulevards). It matters not if one doesn't suss French; the singers' projections convey universally diggable jollity.
