Steve Hooker
The Old Testament Of Love
(Pimphouse Records)
Steve slouches beneath the identical, bluesy street lamp on Rock'n'Roll street as does Keith Richard. His audible lineage charts back to when young bluesmen first added swaggering and animated rhythms to their already assertive output. And, in his guttural vocals, one perceives an instinctiveness quite beyond counterfeiting.
There is a vinyl 45, also: "The Old Testament Of Love" b/w "Tighten It"
