Cliffie Stone
The legendary Capitol Records double bassist and more!
(Atomicat)
Cliffie may have been bad before he was good, but these hand-tooled cuts hail exclusively from the latter period. Joined by various assemblages, he plays and sings in the loose-limbed manner of a hillbilly minstrel who is of the people and wouldn't have it any other way. Six string, steel guitar, and fiddle all imprint with amiable presence.
