Everybody Rock!
(Venture Recording)
Rhythm and Blues in the 1950s was an unashamedly cocksure proposition, its working class ethos of bacchanaliac character. This contemporary channeling of that spirit sounds much less like an afficianado's exhumation than joyfulness in its own wild and relevant right.
Honking saxophone and rippling ivories muscle in beside stalwart stand-up, guitar incisions, and spot-on skins to wreak a midnight party within hot wax grooves. It is a significant human accomplishment in this studio computer, autotune era.
Grab a party chick and dive in.
