Bob Stroger & the Headcutters

That's My Name (Delmark)

When all instruments are in proper proportion and production is unobtrusive, as is the case here, blues is allowed to shine at highest effect. Elegant in places and boisterous at others. There's languidity and there's swaybacked posture, heart communication and even a bit of sly romping. Every man is on deck and contributes to success.

Recommended: "What Goes On In the Dark," "Just A Bad Boy," "Come On Home," "Keep Your Hands Off Her," "Pretty Girl," "Talk To Me Mama," "That's My Name"
