Sebastien Bordeaux

s/t

(Wild RecordsUSA)

Sebastien is the upright bassist for Wayne Hancock. In his old-timey solo outing, he and his acoustic guitar assume center stage. Nimbly picked electric lead articulates accompaniment. Affably drawled vocals convey lyrical common-man poetry, and a doghouse lays reliable foundation. Of unpretentiously significant caliber.

Recommended: "Black Magick," "My Only God Is You," "Baby, Be My Milk Cow," "Buffalo Stew" (feat. Deke Dickerson) "Moon Water Baby," "Creeping Along," "Wounds of a Fickle Heart," "Poison"

Video: "Buffalo Stew" (live at rehearsal)
