Dave has laid aside his auctorial pen, essaying covers of Isley Bros. and Buddy Holly numbers with effervescent results. The former, restyled as a stop-go rocker, careens agreeably. The instrumental latter cruises in efficient fashion and imparts no little buoyancy.
