Lucky 7.5.7.

Rockabilly Revival

(CD Baby)

There may be something in the Virginia atmosphere.

Lucky 7.5.7. hail from Portsmouth, the home region of The Catman, himself. Free from bridle, their songs gallop with home-folks flair. Good-natured, but with a surge that tells you there's something going on. Mindful of storied predeccesors, they cite the aforementioned Gene, as well as Eddie, and Johnny B.

The cumulative effect is one of back-country bacchanalia. Like I said, there may be something in the Virginia atmosphere.

Recommended: "Crazy Legs," "Johnny's Rockabilly Boogie," "B-B-B-Baby," "Broken Heart," "Let's Get Ready," "You Can't Always Win," "Hot Diddley Bop"
