Never Again

A Time and a Place For Us

(Southern Night Records)

Across a scant four selections, the two men of Never Again unspool moody narratives of emotional discord and resolution. Even in their weightiest passages, though, compositions are lifted by virtuosic soloing that likely will steal away breath. The ambitious guitar projects with smoothness, reaching universal limits and defying them. This release dates back to 2022, which means new efforts can be anticipated. One waits anxiously.

Recommended: "Brace For Impact," "Gray Rainbows," "Monster," "A Time and a Place For Us"

Video: "Railroad Track" (This is a bonus track, available for those who download the release.)
