South Sardinian Scum

Switch the Driver 4-song EP

(Bad Billy Records)

Jaw-jutted forcibleness is typical of these diatribes and leaves no doubt about the band's dominative demands. There may exist a line separating neo-rockabilly from its psychobilly bastard offspring, but it makes no appearance here. Instead, gleeful wallowing in an amorphous crazy-quilt of blood-kin rhythms and feverish poundings makes for an escapade repellent to the straight-laced.
