Jane Rose & The Deadends

Time Bomb   EP

(Rumble Road Records)

"New Love"   digital track

 (self-issued)

These bustling songs are freshly minted, but the formidability of their dealers is common knowledge. Possessed of a stentorian voice that cruises the spectrum from breathiness to roars clearly heard at the back tables -- with hiccups and squeals sporadically interjected -- Jane leads remarkably confident bandmates through robust workouts. Their vigor is manifest. When she lets rhythms fly and her crackerjack cohorts rally to her side, they spin more heads than a house afire.
