The Shower Puffs
Powerpuff Twist digital EP
(Headshrinker Records)
"A sonic punch to the jaw," advised Add to Wantlist's Dennis, utterly without hyperbolic intent. Illustrated anew is that rudimentary instrumentation is all Rock'n'Roll ever needed. (Well, that and loads of danger-zone attitude.) Understated audio has the salutary function of leaving stark and bristly material/performances to leap undraped. Appreciation foams over.
