Glenn Danzig

"Who Killed Marilyn?" b/w "Spook City USA"

(Cleopatra)

As this is Glenn's 1981 solo single (backed by an early Misfits shout-along rager), it presents him as the punk stalker he was before he reinvented himself as a metallic Dark Lord. Married are turbulence stirred by urgent basslines and the adored silver-screen object of many amorous reveries. The admixture fascinates, particularly owing to the contentious question posed.

Featured are original and newly-remixed versions. Cleopatra offers this on reasonably-priced purple/white/black splatter vinyl. But moneyed collectors will opt instead for a $100.00 copy signed by Glenn, himself. (The label advises that there are no refunds extended for signed items.)
