Because these unhurried instrumentals are commodious and minimalistic, they allow listeners to give free rein to imagination and daub mind's-eye tableaus lyrical directions would preclude. Multi-instrumentalist Max wisely eschews notice-seizing flash that would despoil placidity. In that, he is aided by drummer Jade Lascelles, whose subtleness gently regulates progress. Aesthetes are encouraged toward closed-eye whimsical calisthenics.
